Visit Britain has launched a new industry standard and consumer mark to help businesses to provide a ‘ring of confidence’ for tourism businesses. We submitted our application and met all the criteria - so now, when you want to take-off in a Spaceship, We're Good to Go - and that's official!
The ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard means businesses can demonstrate that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checked that they have the required processes in place. It has been created by Visit Britain, working in partnership with Visit England, VisitScotland, Visit Wales & Tourism Northern Ireland to create a UK-wide standard to give customers complete peace of mind.
On top of that, we've introduced a Covid Promise, meaning you can book your Spaceship in complete confidence. You'll never lose your deposit and can re-schedule or get a refund in the event of Government imposed Covid-19 travel restrictions. Find out more about the Spaceships Covid Promise here.
Spaceships has been awarded Visit Britain's "We're Good to Go" accreditation
Tourism Minister, Nigel Huddleston MP, said: "The new industry standard will show people that tourism businesses, destinations & attractions are adhering to Covid19UK guidance. It is an important move in getting this industry back up and running."
VisitEngland Director Patricia Yates added: “We want visitors to be able to enjoy their holidays and to support businesses to be confident they have the correct procedures in place."
From pick-up to drop-off - We're Good to Go!
All our campervans and motorhomes are sprayed, hygienically deep cleaned and valeted before going out. We are also offering a contactless pick-up/drop-off service from a secure key box. We'll email you details of your box and your unique key code to collect your keys. The same process will take place when you return the vehicle. Pick-up and drop-off is available this way, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is our regular out of hours policy which we have now extended to all collections and returns.
In addition, your rental has a choice of insurance options with unlimited miles for up to 4 drivers over 21. Complimentary 24 hours roadside assistance is also included.
Get to know your Spaceship before you take-off
We have virtual tours and familiarisation videos for each vehicle category in our fleet, so you can enjoy a "digital vehicle demonstration" at home before you collect your Spaceship. The video will also help you to enjoy and make the most of all the amazing features on board.
Our motorhomes are fully self-contained with toilet, shower and fully equipped kitchen on board. You'll find all the cutlery, crockery and cooking gear you need, with a large fridge/freezer, oven & hob in the kitchen area. There's central heating if the evenings are cool and you can choose a Spaceships motorhome that sleeps up to 5 or 7. You can add our professionally cleaned bedding sets to your booking or bring your own if you prefer. We also offer extras like an electric hook-up so you can use your motorhome as a base for your holiday for as long as you like. You can even bring your dog with you on your Spaceships road trip!
