7-day Scotland itinerary

Our quick & easy Scotland itinerary will take you to all the Scottish highlights. This itinerary starts in London, which makes it a great combo with our English itineraries. Of course, you can also start your trip at our Edinburgh depot. We even have created an itinerary from Edinburgh as well.

Day 1: en route to Glasgow

Head out from the Lake District to the Scottish border and then on to Glasgow. Spend the evening in one of the campsites on the edge of the city.

Day 2: Loch Lomond

Drive into Glasgow and take a look at some of its beautiful architecture before driving north to Loch Lomond (a Loch is a Scottish lake) and then on to Loch Awe. There are plenty of campsites on the way to Campbell Town to spend the night.

Day 3 & 4: Ben Nevis

North today to Fort William and the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. If you’re feeling fit climb to the top for an awe-inspiring view.

Day 5: Isle of Skye

North to the Isle of Skye for some truly spectacular scenery. If you like your whisky then head to the Talisker Distillery.

Day 6: Edinburgh

Drive south to Edinburgh taking in Loch Ness on the way. Look out for the Loch Ness Monster! Edinburgh has lots of entertainment and Edinburgh Castle which is built on an extinct volcano.

Day 7: all good things must come to an end

Work your way back down south via the Lake district or Yorkshire Dales, taking in the Cotwolds or Norfolk on your drive back to London.
