Our branch location just off the M25 allows you to head west to Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, north to the Cotwolds, Peak District, Lake District, Yorkshire and even up to Scotland. You can get into London, or go around London to explore Cambridge, Suffolk and Norfolk in the east. You are also well placed to discover Brighton, The South Downs or take a ferry or Eurotunnel crossing into Europe.

Getting to the Spaceships London branch

Our London campervan hire location is easy to reach. 

• 2.5 miles from our local train station (Hampton Court train station)
• 36 minutes from central London on the train
• 9 miles from Heathrow Airport
• 25 minutes to Heathrow by Taxi/Uber
• 20 minutes from the M25

From Central London

You will need to get the tube/bus/walk to London Waterloo or Vauxhall and take the train to Hampton Court station. Trains leave every 30 minutes. Hampton Court is in London fare zone 6, so you can get there using a London Travelcard, an Oyster card or contactless. Alternatively, you can purchase a rail ticket from either the station or trainline.com.

From Hampton Court station get a taxi to Apps Court or the 411 or 461 bus to West Mosely from Bridge Road then walk along Walton Road, turn right onto Walton Avenue and left onto Hurst Road; Apps Court is about half a mile down Hurst Road on the right.

From Heathrow by Bus

This route takes around 1hr 30mins - Take the 555 Bus towards Whiteley Village to "High Street" (Stop E) then cross the road and get the 564 Bus Towards Walton on Thames to First Avenue. From here it is a 16-minute walk to the pick-up point.

Heathrow Transfers

You can use our partner PBC Corporate to book a transfer from/to any airport around London to/from our branch. (See above) They can also offer transfers from hotels and other areas around London. Alternatively, there are other taxis and providers available for transfer from airports to Spaceships London at Apps Court. 

From Gatwick by Public Transport

This route takes around 1hr 50mins -  Get the train from Gatwick to Clapham Junction and then from Clapham Junction to Hampton Court. From here you will either need to catch the 461 Bus towards Chertsey South or an Uber/Taxi.

Driving from M25

Take junction 11 exit on the M25  then take the A317 to Weybridge and A3050 to Walton-on-Thames. Apps Court is on the left opposite the reservoir.

Parking at our London depot

We are still offering parking for £10 per day at our new branch so you can leave your car in our secure yard. This must be pre-booked and can be added to your booking via your online check-in.

Things to do in London

Home to Big Ben and Buckingham Palace! Being one of the world’s foremost global cities there is much to see and do in London. We recommend at least 3 days before or after your Spaceship campervan adventure to take in the major sites.

Must-do things in London include:

• Walk/ride along the Thames
• Visit Hampton Court Palace
• Take in a West End show
• Visit the Natural History Museum (Free)
• Saturday morning markets at Portabello Road
• Grab a bite to eat an authentic British Pub

London is also the perfect launch site to explore all the UK has to offer. Depending on the duration of your hire our friendly Spaceships staff are always willing to take a couple of mins to help plan out a specific itinerary.
